When you use our Recovery Portal, we collect the following information necessary for a forensic audit:

  • Personal Identity: Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
  • Forensic Evidence: Transaction Hashes (TXID), Wallet Addresses, Bank Reference Numbers, and screenshots of communications or loss.
  • Technical Data: IP address and browser user agent string to help with fraud detection and security.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Testimonial Submissions

When you submit a testimonial on our site, we collect the data shown in the testimonial form, and also your IP address to help with spam detection.

  • Public Display: By submitting a testimonial, you grant Soludesk permission to display your feedback, first name (or initials), and recovery success story on our website and marketing materials.
  • Anonymity: We respect your privacy. Unless explicitly agreed upon, we will redact specific financial amounts, full surnames, and sensitive personal details to protect your identity from public view.
  • Retention: Testimonials are retained indefinitely so we can showcase our history of successful recoveries. You may request the removal of your testimonial at any time by contacting our support team.

Media

If you upload images to the website (such as screenshots of transaction proof), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Our forensic analysts will use these images solely for investigation purposes. We do not share or display uploaded media publicly.

Cookies

We use cookies to ensure the security of your submission session. If you fill out our recovery form, we may use temporary cookies to remember your progress. These cookies contain no personal data and are discarded when you close your browser.

Soludesk does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or forensic data to third-party marketers. To facilitate your asset recovery, data may only be shared with:
Forensic Analysts: Internal specialists assigned to trace your specific case.
Legal & Financial Authorities: If required by law or necessary to freeze assets at an exchange or banking institution.
Spam Protection: We use automated services to check for fraudulent submissions.

How long we retain your data

We retain the personal and forensic data you provide only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes of your recovery audit:
Active Cases: For cases currently under investigation, data is retained for the duration of the forensic process.
Completed Cases: Once an audit is closed, we maintain a permanent record of the Reference ID and the final outcome for legal and administrative purposes.
Unsubmitted Drafts: Any temporary data collected during an incomplete form session is cleared periodically.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes related to an active forensic investigation.

Where your data is sent

Client submissions are screened through an automated spam detection service and then encrypted for review by our forensic analysts. We do not sell or share your forensic data with third-party marketing agencies.
